“The Living Sacrifice Of The ‘Poor Widow‘”
[By Gerald Gates]
Consider the “poor widow” (Luke 21:1-6), one who put into the collection box more than any of the rich. She gave all that she had to live on. A true offering of a living sacrifice, as one knowing her whole life is given unto God, to his service and glory with thanksgiving. Do you suppose her actions to her fellow neighbors were also with such a willing and grateful heart? I would think her actions were fervent in spirit, serving the Lord.
